How many displays do you need your system to manage?

This answer will directly influences the model of MHUB or system configuration we specify for you.

How many video sources are you looking to distribute?

Let us know how many input devices you’ll use (e.g., Apple TV, games console, cable box, CCTV systems). Sources can also be audio devices like SONOS so count this if you would like to include audio distribution as part of your project.

How and what will you listen to when using your system?

Select all audio output options that apply to your setup:

• Display Audio: Uses built-in TV/high-screen speakers. Cost-effective, but limited sound quality.
• Soundbars: Add “better-than-TV” audio without speaker wiring—great for living rooms or apartments.
• Wall/Ceiling Speakers: Provide immersive, customised sound—excellent for open plans or discreet setups where you want to hear great sound but don't want to see the speakers.
• Audio Extraction: Extract audio from your display and send it to local or remote amplifers.
• Cinema/Media Rooms: High-fidelity surround sound for dedicated movie or gaming spaces.

We ask this question because catering for audio beyond TV and soundbar sound can affect your final system cost. Knowing this in advance ensure our team can guide you through any best practises to ensure you get the most out of your system.

How do you intend on controlling your system?

• Original Remotes (IR Passback)
  Use the TV’s or source device’s own remote controls. Simple and cost-effective. Best for: Budget-focused users who don’t mind juggling multiple remotes. Advanced features like managing audio are not available with this option.
• uControl by HDA
  Control via the uControl app, remote or Apple Watch or many 3rd party devices. This option will provide full control of the system and is bundled with all MHUB. This option is perfect for those that want a high level of luxury control without the high cost.
• Control Systems
  Full integration of MHUB into professional building control systems (e.g Crestron, Control4, Savant, URC, RTI) including audio, video lighting, HVAC, shading and security.
• Custom Interface
  Speak to the team about commissioning your own custom interface for a project using our development teams or your own programmers (or ChatGPT) to build a control solution tailored to your needs.
